Officially incorporated 1993, the BC Technology Industry Association (BCTIA) supports tech companies at all stages of growth and development – from startups to rapidly-growing mid-sized companies, and large global players. The BCTIA works to improve British Columbia’s competitiveness and visibility by advancing the development of BC’s tech powerhouse – an industry of over 9,000 companies that employ more than 90,000 skilled professionals today.

Advancing the goal of “helping tech companies grow and succeed”, the doors to the BCTIA Innovation Hub were opened in late-2014. For emerging tech companies, The Hub is a 26,000 square foot acceleration space dedicated to helping companies grow. For anchor tech companies, The Hub is an opportunity to collaborate with entrepreneurs, embed development teams in an innovative environment, and give back to the industry. For professional services firms, The Hub is a chance to host "Grub at the Hub" sessions, engage with clients and meet industry leaders.

In addition to providing a home to emerging tech companies, the BCTIA Innovation Hub is a showcase of BC's best; featuring technology and art installations from more than 25 local tech companies and artisans. From light fixtures and furniture, to leading edge technology, every effort is made to ensure The Hub is "Made in BC."
