The teams that submit the top five applications in each category, as judged by the CODE expert review panel, will be announced on March 6th, 2015. These top 15 teams will then be invited to the CODE Pitch Day event on March 16th, 2015, to pitch their apps to our official CODE 2015 judges. This is their Dragons Den moment.
The official CODE 2015 judges will evaluate the presentations and potential of the applications and determine the winning application in each category as well as the CODE 2015 Grand Champion. The winners in each category as well as the student prize winner will be invited to the Grand Finale event on March 26th, 2015 where their successes and the CODE 2015 Grand Champion will be officially announced and handed their giant cheques.
All qualifying CODE 2015 submissions will be eligible for the Fan Favourite Prize. This prize will be awarded to the team that receives the highest count of votes on their team profile and the highest number of social media likes and shares.

The Grand Prize winner will be chosen from among the 3 category winning teams and will receive $15,000 in cash.
The teams that receive the top score in each category: Youth, Commerce, and Quality of Life will each be awarded a $5,000 cash prize.
The top 15 team with the highest judging score made up of student participants ONLY, will receive a $5,000 prize.
The Fan Favourite Prize of $5,000 will be awarded to the team that receives the highest count of votes on their team profile and highest count of social shares and likes by activating their community network.
